Georgia Van Heyste is the heart and
soul of Georgia Designs.
Born in the idyllic Seychelles islands
to Greek Cypriot and South African
parents, Georgia spent her childhood
surrounded by incredible natural
beauty, which continues to provide a
large part of her design inspiration.
Educated in Paris, Lugano and
Boston, Georgia developed a love and
appreciation of art, interiors
and architecture.
After completing a course in Interior
Decoration at the Inchbald School
of Design in London, Georgia began
her career at Lelievre, the French
fabric house. This was followed by an
interior design position with Candy &
Candy, the renowned property
development company, where Georgia
was able to work on some of London’s most

exciting and
prestigious residential interior
design projects.
In 2006 Georgia moved to New York
to study interior design at Parsons,
The New School for Design and the
Fashion Institute of Technology to
further build her portfolio of skills.
Georgia followed her studies with a
position at Kondylis Design where she
was responsible for interior design
and the project management of
a luxury condominium building in
downtown Manhattan.
In 2009 Georgia returned to London
and founded Georgia Designs. By
creating her own company Georgia is
dedicated to the pursuit of perfection
and to delivering excellence in design
for her discerning clients for whom
style, luxury and quality is paramount. |
