Hello there, I'm Georgia, a Brighton-based designer who creates thoughtful, easy-to-use websites for people doing meaningful work.
Looking back, there has always been a thread running through the things I've loved: stepping into someone else's world, imagining what could be possible, and bringing ideas to life.
As a child, I was constantly creating little worlds of my own, inventing businesses, writing stories, running an imaginary radio station with its own theme tune, and even setting up my own agony aunt column! There was always something about taking an idea and turning it into something real.
Years later, after a degree in dance and training as a counsellor, I found myself surrounded by passionate therapists and wellbeing practitioners who were brilliant at what they did, but often felt overwhelmed by the digital side of their work. I naturally became the person people came to for help with websites, technology and all the little things that felt unnecessarily complicated.
Eventually, I realised there was a gap for someone who understood both worlds: the human, personal world of therapy and wellbeing, and the creative and technical world of web design.
And that's where Georgia Designs began.
Designing with Accessibility in Mind
I'm neurodivergent myself, and this naturally shapes the way I think about websites and digital spaces. My therapy practice is dedicated to working with neurodivergent people, so creating spaces that feel accessible, clear and easy to navigate is something that matters deeply to me, both personally and professionally.
I'm particularly aware of how overwhelming clutter, unclear navigation, dense information and unnecessary decisions can feel. That's why accessibility, clarity and ease of use are woven into the way I design. I create websites that are simple to navigate, thoughtful in how information is presented, and still feel completely personal.
For me, an accessible website doesn't have to feel clinical or boring. It can be warm, beautiful and full of personality while still being easy for people to use.
