At Georgia Designs, I believe websites should be welcoming, clear and easy for people to use.

As a neurodivergent woman, accessibility is something I care deeply about. I know that digital spaces can sometimes feel overwhelming, confusing or unnecessarily difficult to navigate, so I’ve designed this website with clarity, ease and inclusion in mind.

Designing for Ease

I’ve considered accessibility throughout the design and build of this website, including:

Clear navigation so you can easily find your way around the site
Intuitive interactions so clickable elements and buttons are clear and behave as expected
Clear visual hierarchy to make information easier to scan and understand
Spacious layouts that avoid unnecessary visual clutter and give content room to breathe
Colour contrast that helps text and important elements remain easy to see
Streamlined contact options so getting in touch doesn't involve unnecessary steps or complicated forms
Clear and straightforward language throughout the website, with information presented in a way that aims to be easy to understand
A clear, step-by-step process so you can understand what to expect when working with me

I aim to create a website that feels warm, personal and visually engaging without making it unnecessarily complicated to use.

Accessibility Beyond the Website

For me, accessibility isn't just about the finished website. It's also about how I work with people.

I adapt my communication and working process to individual needs and always ask whether there is anything I can do to make the experience easier or more accessible for you.

My design questionnaire includes a dedicated section where you can share any access needs, preferences or adjustments that would help you feel more comfortable during the process. You can also talk to me about these needs at any point.

There is no expectation that you need to know the "right" way to ask for an adjustment. If something would make the process easier for you, I'm happy to work it out together.

An Ongoing Commitment

Accessibility is not something that can be treated as a finished checklist. People have different needs, and websites, technology and accessibility standards continue to evolve.

I will continue to learn, review my approach and make improvements where I can.
